“ I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here! The food here was amazing, and I would come back again the next time I'm in town. It was clear to me when I came in that it was a popular place in town. ”
“ One of my favorite places to enjoy sul lung tang is a charming little spot where the service is exceptionally swift, making every visit feel seamless. The soup itself is a delightful experience--rich, flavorful, and comforting, with a perfect balance of ingredients that warms you from the inside out. Their fresh kimchi is an absolute must-try, adding a vibrant crunch and a spicy kick that beautifully complements the soup.too ”
“ This place has the best sullungtang in Ktown and it's a place well known in the ktown community because of it. They sell two things: sullungtang and a meat plate. I usually get the sullungtang and eat the kimchi along with it because the radish kimchi is my favorite from all the korean restaurants. The regular kimchi is pretty good too. I think it's very creamy and light, you add salt, pepper and green onions to your taste. HOWEVER, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think there are better spots for price:quality ratio. In the past when it was cheaper (over a decade ago of course) so it was just perfect but nowadays I think it is slightly overpriced. If you don't mind paying close to $25 for a bowl of soup, I would absolutely come here. But if not, I would recommend checking out other spots since sullungtang can be found elsewhere. ”
“ Their food did not disappoint. Solid 5 star. It was exactly how I would expect a decent sul lung tang would be. The beef tongue were soooo tender and I was impressed they sliced it like they would grill it. Workers were very efficient, which I appreciate. The only annoying part is that they stop taking dine ins at 8:30 pm sharp doesn't matter how fast you eat. Take out only after 8:30 pm till close. Luckily there were some outdoor seatings at California Market Plaza next door. Top floor. ”
“ My favorite place for seollungtang! Quick service and generous meat portions. The salgogi (beef brisket) bone broth is sooo hearty and satisfying with a spoonful of rice + kimchi. 1.75 scoops of sea salt is the perfect level of saltiness for me. I think they increased prices though?? Great for solo dining and there's a parking lot in the back. ”
